When Ross and Sam married in 1996, they shared a dream: one day they would own a home in the South of France. Two children, busy careers and nearly 30 years later, that dream finally became a reality when they discovered and bought Le Moutique in March 2025.

Their original plan was to combine their skills to create a beautiful venue for yoga retreats. Sam, an experienced yoga instructor, would lead the retreats, while Ross, who was looking for the perfect retirement project, would bring the property back to life. Although Brexit has, for the time being, made hosting yoga retreats more complicated, they decided to follow their dream anyway.

Eighteen months later, Le Moutique has been lovingly transformed into a peaceful retreat in the heart of rural France. With five spacious double bedrooms and a bunk room, the house comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, making it perfect for family holidays, celebrations or relaxing getaways with friends.

Surrounded by sunflowers, vineyards and the rolling countryside of the Bergerac wine region, Le Moutique offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. You’ll enjoy the peace of the French countryside while being just a short drive from the charming bastide town of Eymet, with its welcoming cafés, restaurants and weekly markets.
